PRODUCT DATA SHEET

DESCRIPTION   : Blend of Polycarbonate and ABS exhibit excellent characteristic of both amorphous such as improved melt flow, good mechanical strength, heat resistant and low temperature impact strength. CO 4000 is compound made of 40% ABS and 60% Polycarbonate. Flame retardant grade is also available

APPLICATIONS    :  Notebook computers, display and electronic equipment, automotive components

PROCESSING CONDITIONS        :

? The use of dehumidifying dryer is recommended at 90-950C for 4 hours. The suggested range of mold temperatures below, improves surface appearance, helps consistency of mold fill and therefore consistency of dimensions. The effect of weld lines could also be minimized. Moderate screw speed, 60-90 RPM, and moderate back pressure, 50-100 psi, is appropriate.

            ? Cylinder Temperature   230-2600 C

            ? Mould Temperature        50-700 C
